Our Doctors

Dr. Mark Miller is a 1994 graduate of the Michigan State College of Veterinary medicine. He also received his Bachelor of Science from MSU. Dr. Miller has worked at Grand Blanc Veterinary Hospital since 1997 and became the owner in 2007. He is a lifelong resident of Fenton and a graduate of Lake Fenton High School.

When Dr. Miller is not at work he is usually standing in an ice rink watching his son Connor or his daughter Samantha play hockey. In his limited free time, you might find him at the golf course where he realizes he better stick to veterinary medicine.

Dr. Eric Keilen attended Michigan State University as an undergraduate and went on to graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. After briefly working in the large animal research field, he joined the staff of Grand Blanc Veterinary Hospital to practice companion animal medicine with the thought that helping dogs and cats would lead to a longer career than attempting to dodge angry cattle.

Dr. Keilen is married and has two active boys at home along with the usual cadre of dogs and cats. Outside of work, Dr. Keilen has a great love of the outdoors and you may find him fly fishing, biking, kayaking, or cross country skiing.

Dr. Simon Fick was born and raised in northern Illinois to a Navy dad and a Taiwanese mom. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. In addition to Michigan, he has also practiced in Illinois and Western Colorado.

He and his wife have lived in Michigan since 2004 and currently have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi and a Border Collie whose main purposes in life are to eat and shed lots of fur; a chatty little guinea pig named Neville Fuzzbottom, and two smug American Quarter Horses.

Dr. Fick is an avid reader and also likes to go skiing, biking, fishing, and trial running, especially mud runs or obstacle runs. Fun Fact: Dr. Fick has sat in Sheldon's spot!

Dr. Gino Ticcony received his undergraduate degree from Michigan State and graduated from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003.

He has 2 dogs at home that keep him quite busy. When he's not working he enjoys golfing, biking, gardening, spending time with his wife and son and rooting for the Michigan State Spartans football and basketball teams.

Dr. Ron Crow attended Michigan State University where he earned his Bachelor's of Veterinary Science and then his Doctorate of Veterinary medicine in 1993. he started working with us in March 2016.

His pets at home are Ninja, a Chihuahua, Butch, a Shih Tzu and Speck, a mixed breed. He enjoys wildlife/mural painting, hunting and fishing, tournament archery and motorcycle riding.
